The year is 1840. This story will occur in an isolated forest of Japan. There, not only were there animals and life in nature. There, there was a species, which for many was a myth of their existence: the shizens. They are a kind of strange species that exists. Their DNA is a mixture of a man and an animal. Nobody knows how it came about, but in the Meiji Era, the first shizen was set off by a group of peasants, a sign that they existed at that time.
Just like humans, the shizens also possessed leaders, who were kings. So far they have had ten leaders, who according to him, each ruled the Shizen world for 100 years. The tenth king was Cilius, a Shizen who possessed the DNA of a man with a snake. He always thought of his people and sometimes left his family aside to fulfill his commitment. Because of this, his level of popularity was extremely high and many had him as an admirer.
Cilius married Cellia and she always wanted him around.
But to explain more about the shizens, they have a pattern of immortality, because they would be the guardians of nature and would have to live longer to protect her. The maximum time a shizen lives is 1000 years and is only killed by another shizen. They hate werewolves, vampires and demons and fear divine beings like angels and gods. They also hate ghosts and zombies. The shizen possess the DNA of man with an animal, or a plant/tree or even an element of nature.
Cilius and Cellia were Shizens Cobras and had their first daughter on December 26, 1840. All the shizens went to see the little one. She had the beauty of her mother and later, she had the ambition for her father's good.
They asked what her name would be and Cilius answered:
- She would be called Cellina.
They applauded and the little shizen was asleep.
A few centuries later, in 1945, Cellina would be playing with Hidras, the Shizen Water. She had known him since he turned 50 and from then on, they never stopped seeing each other. They were playing in an open field and Cellia with her friend, Oceânica, Hidras' mother, were talking. It was 6:30 and the sun was setting. Cellia shouts to Cellina that it's time to go home and she says goodbye to her friend. They said goodbye.
Arriving home, Cilius was sitting at the table, writing.
- Cilius, darling, you spend all your time working. Why don't you take a break? - Ask Cellia.
- Honey, I'm sorry, but you know I'm working hard to give our daughter a future. - answers Cilius.
- Yeah, I know. But she misses her father, you know?
Cilius is paralyzed. When she heard that, she put her hands on her head and retired to her room. Cellia looked sad at him and then at the window. That's not the life she wanted. She imagined being happy, without anyone getting in the way. But she was angry with the shizens, because she thought they were to blame for making her suffer. She suffered in life, had no childhood, no adolescence. Her mother dumped her in the human world and disappeared. She suffered a lot and almost lost her life, even though she was a Shizen. Because of this, she felt anger all the time, even with the Shizens, who would be continuing her suffering.
Meanwhile, Cellina would be getting out of the bath and kissing Cellia on the cheek.
- I love you, Mom. - said the little one.
- I love you too. - answers Cellia.
The little shizen went into the bedroom to see her father, who was looking out the window. She sees that Cilius was looking sadly at the window.
- What is it, Dad? - Ask Cellina.
- Nothing. - answers Cilius, who takes up the subject at random. - You know that Cellia is traumatized, right?
- Yes. - answers Cellina.
- Well, I think something will happen to me soon and I ask you to take care of your mother.
- Yes, Dad. You got it. - Cellina hugs him and kisses him on the cheek.
- That's my girl. - said Cilius, who asked:- What was it like playing with Hidras?
- It was super cool. - That late afternoon, Cellina would be telling Cilius how it was that afternoon with Hidras.
