We waited for about Fifteen minutes outside till someone decided to open the door. A little girl girl with red hair and freckles opens the door. I bet to her we were giants especially Sherlock. "Can I help?"
"Are you by chance the daughter of Cathrine Sullivan?" I asked.
"Can we speak to her..."
Before I could even finish my sentence a older person in her mid twenties comes to the door. She whispers something to the child. We watched as the child start walking away and up the stairs.
"Hello, may I help you gentlemen?" The lady asks
"Cathrine Sullivan, my name is My..."
"Yeah...I know who guys are. Mycroft and Sherlock Holmes. This is Sherlock's pet...Dr. John Watson. What do you want?"
"We would like to have a word with you if you don't mind." Mycroft says.
"Do we have to do it now...Susan has dance rehearsal in thirty minutes."
"This will only take ten minutes of your time, Ms.Sullivan."
Catherine opened the door wider and signaled for us to come in. Our group of three followed her into the living and sat on the couch. Well Mycroft didn't, but Sherlock and I did.
"What do you want?"
"We want to know about this letter we found a couple days ago." Mycroft said while fishing the letter from his jacket.
I watched the letter change hands. Catherine's face went from being colorful to a light pale color. She put her hand over her mouth and stared at each of us.
"Where did you find this?"
"We found this on Robert Geers body in his house."
"Robert is dead?"
"Yes he is...We need to know why this was letter was found in his jacket. Please make it only with major details. I don't have that long."
"OK, Robert called me out of the blue on a Wednesday I think. He said that he had a letter from someone who wanted to get in touch with me. We were suppose to meet yesterday down at the little bakery in town."
"Do you know this person that was sending the letter?"
"It was some guy. I met him once. I think his name was James."
"Did he say a last name?
"I think was...To be honest, I thought it was a ridiculous last name. So I remember it well. His last name was Moriarty."
Mycroft and Sherlock both looked at each other before leaving the room. I asjed "Did he say anything about meeting up again?"
"He did say something about meeting up again. He said he wanted to meet in the hospital parking garage first floor. Should I go?"
"Probably...So he won't know that we are on to him."
"That's already too late, Doctor Watson "
"He told me that I needed to bring the Detective and his loyal dog with me."
"Thank you for your time, Mrs. Sullivan."
