Possuindo os poderes de um personagem já existente em outra obra, ele irá desvendar os mistérios de sua própria existência e tentar crescer nesse novo mundo, "cultivando" sua própria lenda como o único mestre espiritual deste mundo.

Após perder seu reino e amigos pro império de Niflheim, o príncipe herdeiro de Lucis, Noctis Lucis Caelum se une à um mercenário e amigo distante Cloud Strife, um ex-SOLDIER em busca de vingança contra uma companhia elétrica global que destrui sua terra natal e matou sua mãe.
Os jovens além de excelentes guerreiros, possuem poderes misteriosos desde seus nascimentos que nem a humanidade é capaz de explicar.
Com essas habilidades, os dois guerreiros partem em sua jornada que revelará verdades sobre seus verdadeiros passados.

These are the questions that end up troubling a young girl who is coming of age... Her dreams often leading to horrendous nightmares or cryptic messages that no matter how many times she thinks about it... She can never seem to wrap her head any of it. Especially the latest dream she has... That leads her to one question that always plauges her the most... Are any of them real? And if not then why does she carry the same last name as three of them? Is she somehow related to these three guys in more ways than one? Or is thier some deeper meaning behind all this...

Maybe... Just maybe the voice she always ends up hearing can help her out. To figure out what exactly all this means and if by any means she has to help them out.
