Draco Malfoy expected many things to occur during the summer following his 5th year. He expected to become of the Dark Lord's marked (no matter how unwanted). Even knowing all the difficulties she would face, the possibility of experiencing another reality and even perhaps a new future was too tempting for her to deny herself of finally fulfilling one of her biggest dreams.
