I looked between Scott and Allison as they looked at each other smiling again

"Who is that? "Allison asked 

"Him? I'm not sure who he is"Lydia said 

"That's my brother Scott Why?"I asked turning my attention to Allison

" He's in my English class. "She says coach blows the whistle I winced as Scott took a ball to the face 

" Hey, way to catch with your face, McCall!"Jackson said I stood up 

"Hey jackass shut up!"I said coach blew his whistle 

"McCall number 2 have a seat!"he yells I rolled my eyes before sitting down again Scott then started making amazing shots he even caught Jackson's ball 

" He seems like he's pretty good "Allison said 

"Oh, very good"Lydia said I stood up cheering for my big brother yeah by 2 minutes 

"Whoo go Scott !"I cheered I saw him shoot me a smile showing me he heard me

Later that day I was over Lydia's house 

"How is that even possible?"she asked pacing the floor

"Lydia it's okay maybe Jackson doesn't play well when he's angry"I said I heard him scoff oh yeah did I mention he was here 

"You need to fix this"she told Jackson i rolled my eyes 

"You all know I don't date losers"she said she faced me now my arms were folded 

"Especially you"she adds I stood up 

"Not that I care about your boyfriends popularity. Which I assure you that this little fiasco diminished your ego just a little bit but I actually have more important things to do than obsess over my brother being the king at lacrosse practice today"i said I grabbed my bag 

"Which is?"Jackson asked standing up

"Sleeping"I said putting an innocent smile on my face I looked at Lydia 

"I'll call you later"I said before leaving stiles was here to pick me up he always had a crush on me 

"Hey stiles"I said I leaned over kissing his cheek making him blush 

"Thanks for picking me up"I said he glanced at me 

"No problem whenever you need a ride I'm here"he said I smiled 

"You're too nice stiles. I really don't know why Lydia just doesn't dump Jackson for you"I said he did a double take

"Really?"he asked 

"Yeah Jackson's a jackass"i said nodding it didn't take long for us to get to my house 

"I'll call you later"i told him as I kissed his cheek again before getting out and going inside the house I saw my mom on the couch I sat beside her kissing her cheek 

"Awe look at you you look so pretty"she said looking at my outfit I gave her a look 

"Okay what's up?"she asked 

"There's a party this Friday can I go?"I asked she thought for a second 

"Only if your brother does"she said I groaned 

"Fine"i grumbled I then got up and went to grab a bottle of water and headed to my room

I rushed down the hall towards the voices 

"You think you're funny - Don't you, McCall? I know you're hiding something. I'm gonna find out what it is. I don't care how long it takes."I heard Jackson say I pushed him off Scott 

"Get your hands off my brother Jackson"I said I started to go for him but Scott grabbed me

"I'm okay"he said I nodded I then hugged him 

"Okay kick his ass for me okay"I said 

"Okay"he said he started walking towards the field as stiles ran after him I followed them 

"Scott! Scott, wait up."he says 

"Stiles, I'm playing the first elimination, man - Can it wait?"Scott asked 

" Just hold on, okay? I overheard my dad on the phone. The fiber analysis came back from the lab in L.A. They found animal hairs on the body from the woods! "Stiles said 

" Stiles, I gotta go."Scott said 

" Wait, no! Scott! You're not gonna believe what the animal was!"he says but Scott was gone 

"What was it?"I asked 

" It was a wolf."he said

I got a text from stiles saying meet him at his house. I knocked on the door Scott behind me

"Get in. You gotta see this thing. I've been up all night reading - websites, books. All this information."stiles rambled

"How much Adderall have you had today?"I asked standing by the door 

"A lot. Doesn't matter. Okay, just listen."stiles said grabbing my hand and dragging me to the bed I sat on it slowly still confused

" Oh, is this about the body? Did they find out who did it?"Scott asked 

"No, they're still questioning people, even Derek Hale"stiles said I raised my eyebrow

"A guy I never heard about a guy"i said I was ignored

" Oh, the guy in the woods that we saw the other day."Scott said 

"Yeah! Yes. But that's not it, okay? "Stiles said

" What, then?"I asked 

"Remember the joke from the other day? Not a joke anymore. The wolf - the bite in the woods. I started doing all this reading. Do you even know why a wolf howls?"stiles asked 

" Should I?"Scott asked I shook my head 

"It's a signal, okay? When a wolf's alone, it howls to signal its location to the rest of the pack. So if you heard a wolf howling, that means others could have been nearby. Maybe even a whole pack of 'em"stiles said he was everywhere flipping threw pages of books and loose paper

"A whole pack of wolves? "I asked 

" No - Werewolves."stiles said 

"Are you seriously wasting my time with this? You know I'm picking up Allison in an hour"Scott said I looked at him surprised by the change in his attitude

"I saw you on the field today, Scott. Okay, what you did wasn't just amazing, all right? It was impossible."stiles says

" Yeah, so I made a good shot."Scott said 

"No, you made an incredible shot, I mean - The way you moved, your speed, your reflexes. Y'know, People can't just suddenly do that overnight. And there's the vision and the senses, and don't even think I don't notice that you don't need your inhaler anymore"stiles said I looked at Scott now noticing the same thing too

" Okay! Dude, I can't think about this now. We'll talk tomorrow."Scott said 

"Tomorrow?! What? No! The full moon's tonight. Don't you get it? "Stiles asked

" What are you trying to do? I just made first line. I got a date with a girl who I can't believe wants to go out with me, and everything in my life is somehow perfect. Why are you trying to ruin it?"Scott asked wow that hurted 

"I'm trying to help. You're cursed, Scott. You know, and it's not just the moon will cause you to physically change. It also just so happens to be when your bloodlust will be at its peak."stiles said 

" Bloodlust?"I asked pulling off my shoes knowing it will be awhile

" Yeah, your urge to kill"stiles said 

"I'm already starting to feel an urge to kill, Stiles"Scott said sharply he then looked at me 

"Tell me you don't believe this"he said 

"I don't know I mean it makes sense"I said

"You gotta hear this. "The change can be caused by anger or anything that raises your pulse." All right? I haven't seen anyone raise your pulse like Allison does. You gotta cancel this date"stiles said I got up looking at Scott

" I'm gonna call her right now"I said before going through his bag pulling his phone out

"What are you doing?"he asked 

" I'm canceling the date."I said in a duh tone

" No, give it to me!"he said he charged at me holding me by the throat his fist raised to hit me 

"Scott!"stiles shouted his hand on his arm Scott let me go I slid down the wall holding my throat

" I'm sorry. I - I gotta go get ready for that party. I'm sorry."he says stiles pulled me up and into his embrace 

"He didn't mean it"he says repeating the same thing over and over trying to convince both of us
