Soterios held firmly onto his blade. The sweat dripping down his face mixed with the viscous crimson blood pouring down open wounds and soaking into his blonde hair. He gasped for breath, ruby eyes glistening in the light of the setting sun as he stared intently at his foe perched upon a towering wall looking down upon him from above.
Soterios gritted his pearly white teeth, anger and emotion welling up inside him. He took a moment to collect his thoughts, before stepping forward. He winced as he felt the heavy mettalic chains pulling against his person, seeming to attempt to rip his heart- no, more like his soul out of his very being.
He looks to his immediate environment observing the bodies piled along the field. The verdure of the greenery turned into a deep red hue. Biting his lip he jerked his attention back to his assailant.
He clenched his open fist as the familiar blue aura enveloped his body. Glossy black horns fixed firmly onto his disoriented head shimmered under the intense light from the falling golden, celestial globe . Bellowing a loud commanding shout he dashed forward and leapt into the air. With a quick mid-air twirl Soterios grabbed the handle of his blade with both hands and with a powerful vertical swing he drove his blade down towards his waiting foe.
