How people easily see death as horrible. Perhaps, if death was a character, they would most surely be the outcast of the story. The weirdo that everyone avoids, who is said to be cold, violent, ruthless. But, oh, how our eyes always deceive us. May it be a prison for the ones who are sane and healthy, it may be the key to the cage that holds the sick and insane to this ground.
But it doesn't matters, death doesn't discriminates. Death can't be tricked. But there is some, that, no matter how broken, twisted or sick they are, still manage to do the impossible.
Deceive death, and further live more... At a cost, of course.
Salix is young. The male, unfortunately, is killed. His family cries, and after a week, the cries are silenced by knives and swords, wielded by beings with no longer any bit of sanity left. A bell rings, the ashes of burned houses fall down on the floor in a pretty way. The graves are open, and from one of the graves, Salix rises from it, confused, as if he just awoke from a deep slumber with pleasant dreams. He wakes up, only to see himself in a nightmare.
