Lucy and Natsu have been dating for a few months when they both realize it's not working out. They break up but remain friends. Lucy finds out Natsu has feelings for Lisanna. She talks to Master Makarov and decides to let Lisanna take her place on the team so she & him can begin dating.
Lucy also decides to join the newly reformed guild exchange program in hopes of becoming stronger. Makarov agrees and she is assigned to Sabertooth with the special job of helping Sting reform the guild and teaching him how to run a guild. She agrees and sets off for a one year program. She will return home every other month for two weeks to report to her master and after one year she can continue the program or graduate.

Kara Rose. Creation dragon slayer born in war, she joins FairyTail as a hooded mage that can beat an S class monster alone. She believes she is alone in the world, but, maybe he can change that.
